ABOUT

Gabor, a life-loving gallery owner, faces pancreatic cancer. His chances for survival are less than five percent, still, he strongly believes he will live. He sets out to change his life. If not a fatal illness, what can make him slow down and listen to what he really needs?

DIRECTOR

ASIA DÉR

Graduated as a documentary director at the DocNomads MA program. Her first feature “Her Mothers” was shown at more than 30 international film festivals. It is currently on HBO MAX.Her second feature-length documentary, ”I Won't Die” had its world premiere in 2023 at the Warsaw International Film Festival. She is an alumni of ZagrebDox Pro, CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator and participated with her film at East Doc Platform, Cannes Docs, and the Docu Rough Cut Boutique. At the moment she is pursuing her doctoral degree. ASIA DÉR is the winner of numerous prizes at international festivals, including Košice International Film Festival, Film Arte Festival in Berlin, Doker Moscow International Documentary Film Festival and others.
